Tracy Ann Harris

With heavy hearts, the family of Tracy Ann Harris, announce her passing. On December 22nd, 2024 in the comfort of her own home, Tracy passed away in her sleep. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Tracy knew she was a special soul—you knew when she walked in and when she left, because she truly was the life of the party. Tracy undoubtedly left a lasting impact on every person she met. Throughout her life, Tracy gave everything she had and more to anyone around who was in need. She would give everything she had and then say, “Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.” She was the epitome of selflessness; always putting the needs of others before her own. With a heart that was three sizes too big and full of love, her love and support knew no bounds. She loved everyone around her so hard that she never left any for herself. She created a beautiful home filled with her homemade cooking, handy work, pillows, and more pictures of her family than you could count. She was a devoted sister to her siblings, and an extremely proud and loving mother to her beloved girls, Sabrina Harris and Cassandra (Garrett) Ivonen. In 2023, Tracy experienced one of the greatest joys of her life, becoming a Grammy to Emilia Ivonen. This chapter of her life filled her heart with more love than she could express and more videos and pictures than she could display. She possessed a rare ability to turn adversity into opportunity, showing her family what it meant to show up, have strength, and keep going. Tracy’s children and siblings will carry forward her lessons of independence, strength, and unconditional love. Tracy’s absence will be felt, and she will be deeply missed by those who loved her. A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held in June, where we will gather to honor the incredible woman she was, the love she shared, and the beautiful impact she made on this world – a world she did not deserve. Though she may no longer walk among us, the love and strength she shared will forever echo in our hearts. Thank you, mom, for loving us, guiding us, and giving us more than you ever had.
