Tomassino Lincoln Offer

It is with great sadness, yet with immense gratitude for the beautiful years we shared with him, that the family of Tomassino Lincoln Offer, age 18 of Washington Township, Michigan, announce his sudden and unexpected passing on Sunday, October 11, 2026. To know Tomassino was to know an exceptional young man of many gifts and talents, and a teen who truly loved God. He was a passionate athlete who not only achieved significant honors such as 1st team All-State in soccer, and Goalkeeper of the Year at Notre Dame Prep, but who boldly stood for Christ on the diamond as well. He played baseball with a fearless confidence — a mindset he attributed to prayer and his faith in God. He was a young man who loved people and made it his goal to befriend his fellow classmates. He desired to lead by example by endeavoring to live and love like Jesus did. He was a young man who honored and loved his parents, and followed in their footsteps of faith. He was a loving, loyal brother and friend to Benedetto, and his sister Luciana. Their deep love and friendship for one another was plain to see. The trio had a camaraderie that was rare and apparent to all of our family. Tomassino was a young man who was hungry to know God and to understand His Word. If you asked him what his favorite Bible verse was, he would quickly reply, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). He endeavored to live this out as he headed off to Wheaton College in Illinois this fall, pursuing a degree in business and becoming a valued college baseball player. On Sunday, October 11, he walked out of church carrying his Bible, unaware that minutes later he would be in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Though his time on earth was short, we know that he is not dead but alive and well, living in the presence of God. While we greatly miss him, we carry on with the expectation and hope of seeing him again in Heaven. Tomassino is survived by his loving parents, Brandon/Benny and Alkida (Lekaj) Offer; his younger brother and sister, Benedetto and Luciana; his grandparents, Thomas and Eileen Offer (Leone) and Prek and Lula Lekaj, his uncle Todd and Ylldes Offer, his uncle Arben and Violet Lekaj, his aunt Violeta Lekaj and a large, devoted circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. A celebration of Tomassino’s life will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons funeral home located at 54880 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Charter Twp, MI 48316 from 3-9 pm with a 7pm prayer service and sharing. On Saturday, October 17, 2026, Tomassino will lie Instate at 9 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Utica located at 44633 Utica Rd., Utica Rd, MI 48317 with a 10am Mass following. His burial will follow immediately after at Guardian Angel Cemetery located at 4701 N Rochester Rd., Oakland Township, MI 48306. A luncheon will follow at Marcus Grill, 55690 Van Dyke, Shelby Twp. MI 48315. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook at WujekCalcaterra.com.
