Roseanne Marie Closser

Roseanne Marie Enloe Closser, 75, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Troy, Michigan, surrounded by family. Born and raised in Detroit, Roseanne later made her home in Sterling Heights. She attended Warren Lincoln High School and went on to study at the Detroit School of Business. She was the beloved daughter of Rose Marie Enloe and Clarence “Bud” Swan Enloe, and was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Marlene and Alicia, and her niece Jackie. Roseanne is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Edward Closser; her children Melody Rose Enloe Herr (Keith), Bridgette Anne Bochatyn Ludeman (Scott), and Bradley Alan Bochatyn; her stepdaughters Nicole Williams and Kristyna King; and her “favorite” bonus daughter, Denise “DeeDee” Denysenko. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph Mark Enloe, Robert Clarence Enloe, Ronald Gilbert Enloe, and Gerald McIlvain, nieces Cheryl and Roxanne, nephews, and her former spouse, Alan Bochatyn. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a proud grandmother to Zachary, Ellysa, Kieran, Hunter, Brody, Jake, and Declan, and step-grandmother to Alyssa, Stefanie, April, and Amanda. She was a cherished great-grandmother to Sofie, Gemma, Aiden, Colton, Iyla, Weston, and Elena, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her ninth great-grandchild, due in April. And then there were all the people she adopted along the way. Too numerous to name, but each one deeply loved and forever family. Roseanne grew up in Detroit and, as a 21-year-old single mom, bought her first home in Warren, Michigan. From the very beginning, nurturing people was her gift. She never knew a stranger. She was every kid’s second mom. There was always a seat at her table, a shoulder to lean on, and a heart that made room for everyone. She loved freely and unselfishly, without conditions. And she was loved right back by everyone who had the good fortune to know her. She built a career she was proud of, working her way up at Production Tool Supply before continuing on at J&L/Kennametal, where she eventually retired. Her work ethic was strong, but her people always came first. A proud Italian American, Roseanne embraced life with enthusiasm. She was a devoted Detroit Lions fan and an avid fantasy football player, proudly winning her league more than once. She loved playing euchre, traveling to Florida, and spending time at the cottage surrounded by family and friends. Above all else, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Roseanne’s legacy is one of unconditional love, generosity, and welcome. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in every life she touched.
