Rose Benyola

On March 6, 2026, at the age of 87, Rose Benyola was called home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of steadfast faith, unconditional love, and humble service. A devoted wife, loving mother, enthusiastic cheerleader for everyone she knew, and faithful Christian, Rose lived a life that reflected God’s love in action. She shared warmth, encouragement, and kindness with all who crossed her path. Rose had a beautiful way of filling every room with love the moment she entered it. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and genuine kindness made people feel welcomed, valued, and at ease. She had a gift for turning even the simplest moments into something special. Those who knew Rose will always remember her lively facial expressions, joyful excitement, and the occasional affectionate “nudge” that said more than words ever could. She didn’t just speak with her voice—her hands often told the story, too. Her deep faith shaped every part of who she was and guided how she treated others, always with patience, grace, and compassion. Two moments in Rose’s life were especially meaningful to her. On July 31, 1955, she gave her life to her friend and Savior, Jesus Christ—a decision that became the foundation of her life. Later, on October 21, 1961, she married the love of her life, Jerry Benyola. Rose faithfully waited on the Lord to bring the right person into her life, and He blessed her with Jerry, a man who loved her deeply. Together they were a wonderful team, sharing a life filled with faith, love, laughter, and devotion to family. Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother who always placed the needs of others before her own. Her greatest joy came from watching her daughters and grandchildren grow, succeed, and find happiness. She celebrated every accomplishment, big or small, and was always their biggest supporter. Whenever her children or grandchildren told her they loved her, she would quickly reply, “Love you, more.” And she truly meant it—Rose could not be out-loved. Rose was the devoted wife of her late husband, Jerry, and the loving mother of Michelle Benyola and Darlene (David) Lovalvo. She was an adored grandmother to Brittany (Angelo) Amalio, Ashley (Alex) Seley, Sydney Lovalvo, and Jack Lovalvo, and a proud great-grandmother to Olivia, Giovanni, Briella, and Lorenzo. She was also a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Fannie, and her brother, Jack. Those who knew Rose will remember her laughter, her compassion, and the special way she made people feel truly seen and deeply loved. Her love was the heart of her family and the light of her friendships. Though she will be profoundly missed, the legacy of her faith and love lives on in the many lives she touched. The light of Christ that shone so brightly through Rose will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
