MOCERI, ANN, May 14, 2025, Age 91. Beloved wife of the late Anthony (2010) for 57 cherished years. Loving mother of Pearl Moceri, Salvatore (Renee) Moceri, and Rosalie Moceri. Proud grandmother of Alicia (Andrew), Michael, Anthony (Jasmine), Taylor (Jackie), Marissa (Brandon), Dominic (Allison), Angelo, and great grandmother of Jetson and Landon. Dear sister of Vita (the late Russell) Leone. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Rosalia, and her siblings Vito and Florence. Ann was a pillar of strength and devotion, known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. As the heart of the household, she offered wisdom, guidance, and endless support—always nurturing, always present. With quiet strength and humility, Ann embraced the beauty of life’s simple joys, whether it was in the kitchen baking, cooking meals with love, or tending to the home she and her beloved late husband, Anthony (Tony), built together. It was there that they raised not only their children, but also their grandchildren, creating a haven filled with warmth, tradition, and love. Proud of her Sicilian heritage, Ann was a passionate keeper of family traditions. She delighted in sharing stories of her ancestry and often offered anyone who would listen a lively crash course in the Sicilian language. Her cultural pride was as heartfelt as it was contagious. More than just family history, Ann passed down her values—teaching her children and grandchildren the importance of resilience, innovative thinking, and discipline. Through her life, she instilled a legacy of strength, purpose, and love that continues to shape and inspire all who were fortunate to know her. For those who entered Ann’s home, they could tell that she took pride in her home being clean, organized and kept in top shape. This home being the hub for the entire family to gather on Sundays for family dinners, on holidays to celebrate together, or just to stop by and spend some time with the sweet lady that she was. Her home was always open for her family and friends to stop in. Soon into any visit, she would surely offer to feed you with whatever she had to offer that day. Ann truly cherished every moment spent with her family, no matter what the occasion. As mentioned before, she helped raise her grandchildren. She would babysit her grandchildren multiple days a week. During this time frame, she would become affectionately known as “Nanie” by some of her grandchildren. In her lifetime, she was quite a traveler. Traveling to many different places with her husband Tony as well as her children and grandchildren. Ann and Tony traveled to Italy together, as well as driving through many states with her family, seeing quite a few national landmarks along the way. Her and Tony visited Alaska on a cruise as well as the Caribbean on a family cruise trip. Many trips to Florida and San Diego were made along the years. Her Husband Tony was her world. When Tony became ill, Ann became a full-time caretaker without a single complaint. She spent years giving the highest quality of care for her beloved husband, showing everyone a once-in-a-lifetime love affair we all wish to have. Ann leaves behind a family deeply enriched by her presence and forever guided by the wisdom and love she so generously gave. Visitation Monday 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). Funeral Tuesday instate 9:30am at St. Thecla Catholic Church 20740 South Nunneley (Enter from Kerry St off Groesbeck) until time of Mass 10am. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
