Angeline Boyd

Angeline Boyd, a talented and gifted woman whose love held a family together across four generations, passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 90. She was the beloved mother of six, grandmother of sixteen, and great-grandmother of seventeen. Angeline often said she was fortunate to have known two loves of her life over the span of seventy years. Her home was filled with love and what she enjoyed most. She was an avid gardener and knitter, and she found deep joy at the piano. She was also an exceptional cook, and she used that gift for more than feeding people. Her meals kept her family gathered at the table long after the dishes were cleared, talking, laughing, and catching up. These conversations usually happened over a bowl of mixed nuts still in their shells, a tradition so cherished that the family came to call them “conversational nuts.” Angeline never stopped learning. At fifty, she earned a two-year degree and had a full scholarship to Wayne State University. She gave her time and her voice generously as a Girl Scout leader, a Sweet Adeline, and a member of her church choir. Above all, she was a devoted and tireless advocate for her daughter Julie’s welfare and continuing education. Beloved wife of the late Bartomeo 'Leo' Guzzardo and the late William Boyd. Proud mother of Lisa (Vincent) Asaro, Angela (Donald) Szkubiel, Mary Jo (Dennis) Dennisuk, the late Julie Guzzardo, the late John (Amy) Guzzardo and Bart (Katie) Guzzardo. Adored grandmother of Daniel Urso, Angela (Dan) Cahill, Kellin (Katie) Szkubiel, Ryan Urso, Adrienne (Collin) Chase, Ashleigh (Scott) McAlpin, Anthony (Molly) Asaro, Chelsea (David) Walline, Alysse (Gunther) Schultze, Gianna (Matt) Valenti, Christian (Alexandria) Guzzardo, Adrianna (Ryan) Goins, Gabrielle (Robert) Konstan, Jacob Guzzardo, Anthony Guzzardo and Alexandra Guzzardo. Cherished great-grandmother of Patience, Charlotte Angeline C., William, Kellin, Maverick, Rowyn, Elizabeth, Audrey, Leo, Kennedy, Charloette Angeline W., Harlow, Callie, Logan, Vienna, Beck and Easton.
