William Richard Siefen

William Richard Siefen, aged 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Harrison Township on February 2, 2024. Born on December 27, 1952, in Detroit, William was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and steadfast friend to many. He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Terri, his children Christian (Katie) Siefen and Shauna (Tom) VanSimaeys, and his cherished grandchildren Kaden, Teagan, Madden, Giuliana, Alessandro, and Gabriella. William also leaves behind his sister Cheri and brother John E., while holding dear the memory of his parents John and Florence Smith Siefen who preceded him in death. Raised in Royal Oak, William graduated with pride from Kimball High School in 1971. His life's journey was beautifully enriched by two significant unions: his first marriage to Cynthia Mull, with whom he welcomed his beloved daughter Shauna, and his second marriage to Terri McCreedy, with whom he was blessed with his son Christian. A skilled cabinet maker and master mechanic, William excelled in his roles at Russell’s, Berger and Sons, and Ford, showcasing his exceptional mechanical skills. He also owned and operated FedEx routes, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit. His expertise extended to home remodeling with Bee & Tee Conversions, demonstrating a breadth of talents. William's dedication to his community shone brightly through his involvement as an AYSO #919 soccer coach, a scout leader, and a trustee at Knox Presbyterian Church. His love for golf, softball, and his unwavering support for the University of Michigan and the Green Bay Packers were testament to his diverse interests and passions. William's strong faith guided him through life, and it is with a firm belief in the promise of eternal peace that his family and friends find comfort, knowing he has been welcomed into heaven. His legacy of kindness, faith, and love leaves an indelible mark on all who knew him. A memorial service to celebrate William's life, faith, and legacy will be held on February 15th, 2024, beginning with a visitation at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM at Knox Presbyterian in Harrison Township, MI. This gathering will provide an opportunity for loved ones to unite in remembrance of William, honoring the profound impact he made on their lives and cherishing the memories shared.
