GRILLO, Vincenzia "Zina" (nee: Montalbano). Died June 24, 2023 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Age 85. Beloved wife of the late Jerome Grillo and the late Thomas Laquiere. Loving mother of Justina Cruse (John), Sarah Rogers (Greg), Virginia DiGiuseppe (John), Michele Jarema (Jeff), and Andrea Deacon (David). Proud and loving grandmother of Patricia Gasperoni (Frank), Vincenza Hefel, Jewel Notoriano (Nick), Jerome DiGiuseppe (Maryann), John Cruse (Brittni), Sarah Morris (Joe), Joanne Lafata, Vincenza Lipari (Michele'), Jerome Rogers (Cody), Jeffrey Jarema, Joseph Jarema (fiance' Savannah), Alexander Deacon, Andrew Deacon, Aidan Deacon, the late Girolamo "Milo" Deacon, Leonardo Deacon, Matteo Deacon, the late Nico Deacon, and Vincenzo Deacon and great-grandmother of Rosaria Gasperoni, Marianna Hefel, Franco Gasperoni, Marcello Gasperoni, Roman Notoriano, Jionni DiGiuseppe, Maurizio Hefel, Rosie Lafata, Vincenza Hefel, Adalina DiGiuseppe, Zina Lipari, Rocco Rogers, Lorenzo Morris Sabrina Cruse, Angelo Notoriano, Elisabetta Rogers, Giuliano Lipari, Alexanadria Morris and Giavanna DiGiuseppe. Dear sister of Antonio Montalbano (Pauline) and the late Salvatore Montalbano (Darlene) and sister-in-law of the late Nina Fazzolari (the late Dominic), Frances Moceri (the late Dominic), Virginia Billardello (Sebastian), Mario Grillo (the late Anna), Mary Chirco (Mike), and Rosalie Mortillaro. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Zina had an unconditional love for her family and was happiest when they were all together. She has left a true legacy that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10am at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S. Nunneley (S. of of Metro Parkway, E. of Groesbeck), Clinton Township.
