Timothy Alan Zeigler Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Timothy “Tim” A. Zeigler, age 65, passed away at home on December 19, 2021 surrounded by loved ones after a two year battle with cancer. Tim was born in Pottstown, PA, to Clarence and Joan (Hoffecker) Zeigler, moving to Dallas, TX as a young man where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business and began his career as a Quality Engineer. While in Texas, Tim met and married Sophia (Bolser) in 1987, moving to Michigan in 1998 to raise their sons. A devoted father, Tim especially enjoyed spending time with his family; camping in the early years and more recently traveling within the US. Relishing true joy from life’s simple pleasures, he was especially fond of spending time with family and friends sharing a meal and amusing stories. Tim was most at home “tooling around” in his garage working on cars and household projects. Beloved husband of Sophia, dearest father of Troy (Alaina) Zeigler and Drew Zeigler. Tim is survived by his siblings; Tom (Marcia) Zeigler, Terry (JoAnn) Zeigler, Tracy (John) Webster, Ty (Michelle) Zeigler as well as six in-law brothers and sisters. Tim leaves behind a life time of meaningful friendships and his infectious teasing sense of humor will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (Shelby Township) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd on January 15, 2022.
