Theresa Sceglio Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

SCEGLIO, Theresa (nee: Orselli), age 93, a resident of Orchard Lake, Michigan passed away on September 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Henry Ford Hospital - West Bloomfield. Theresa immigrated to the United States in 1935 at the age of 10 from Guardia Piedmontese, Calabria, Italy. She married Michael Sceglio in July of 1952. Proud and loving mother and grandmother of Deborah Logan (James) and their daughters Christine Logan and Susan Hiipakka; Donna Vorhees (Russ) and Tina Sceglio Bandy (Mark Williams) and her children Michael and Spencer Bandy. Also survived by her dear great-grandchildren Joe Garascia, Sabrina Garascia, Abby Hiipakka and Alex Hiipakka. Visitation Friday 3-9pm with a 7pm Scripture service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Saturday 11:30am until time of 12 noon Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr (N. of 21 Mile Rd.), Shelby Township. Entombment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Special thanks to the caring staff at Henry Ford Hospital-West Bloomfield who provided such loving and compassionate care in her final days there.
