GRILLO, Sebastiano. Passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Caterina (Numerosi) for 59 cherished years. Loving father of Francesca Lipari (Vincenzo), Girolamo "Jerry" Grillo (Janine), Daniela Baird, and Sammy Grillo (Tonya). Proud and devoted Nonno to his grandchildren: Maria (Marc), Michael (Rose), Anthony (Emily), Vincent, Sebastian (fiancée Jillian), Joe, Sebastian, Silvio, and Sonjia. Great-grandfather (Nonno) to Christian and baby Lipari. Dearest brother of Antonino, Andrea, Grace, and Joe, and predeceased by his siblings: Sister Maria Providenza, Elizabetta, Anna, Domenico, Bartolo, Sam, and Angelo. Predeceased by his beloved parents, Girolamo and Providenza. Sebastiano immigrated to the United States in 1960 with his brothers Angelo and Domenico in pursuit of a better life for the Grillo family. He later owned and operated LaRosa Refrigeration in Detroit for over 50 years. A true example of dedication and perseverance, Sebastiano devoted his life to both his family and his business. He lived a life of love and sacrifice, always putting the needs of others before his own to ensure his children and grandchildren could thrive. His greatest hope was for his grandchildren to excel — both in education and in life — and he took immense pride in all their accomplishments. Sebastiano leaves behind a legacy of hard work and unwavering love. His life was a testament to what it means to provide, work hard, to care, and to lead by example. His strength, quiet generosity, and enduring devotion will continue to inspire generations to come. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him. Instate Friday 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr (N. of 21 Mile Rd.), Shelby Township. Entombment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
