STONE, Robert Lee "Bob". May 31, 2022. Age 81. Beloved husband of Janice (nee: Klimaszewski) for 37 years. Loving father of James Robert Stone and stepfather of Laura Middleton (Christopher). Proud and loving Papa of Benjamin Middleton. Dear brother of the late William Dean Stone and the late Deborah Dee Rathbun (Robert) and half-brother of Jim A. Stone, Sue Stone and the late Don Stone. Also survived by many loving inlaws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob served in the United States Navy and worked for many years as an auto body designer until his retirement in 2001. He loved golfing, woodworking, and going to the movies. Bob was an excellent "handyman" and was kind and generous with his time, always offering to help others with whatever they needed; he frequently volunteered to do maintenance around his church, Woodside Bible Church in Troy. Visitation Thursday 3-9pm. Funeral Friday 10:30am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Heights. Interment, White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, Wounded Warrior Project or Multiple Sclerosis Society are appreciated.
