Bob Saltsman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Saltsman, who left us peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, in Macomb Township, Michigan, on June 15, 2024. Born in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Robert and Miriam Saltsman. Bob was a devoted husband to Pauline since 1974 and a loving father to Paula (Jeff) Kreuger, John (Annie) Saltsman, and JoAnne (Brian) Zawislak. He was also a cherished Gramps to Kendall, Erin, Claire, Charlie, Elaine, Nora, Joseph, Brynn, Mia and Lev. Dearest brother of Ginger (Pat) Sammon, the late Tom (Jody) Saltsman, Salli (the lateBob) Bonacci, Patti Saltsman, and Jack (Cathie) Saltsman. Loving son-in-law of Pauline Floreno and the late John Floreno. Dear brother-in-law of Joe (Debbie) Floreno, John (Marilyn) Floreno and Marguerite Floreno. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. After retiring from a fulfilling career in teaching, Bob embraced his passions for family, travel, and woodworking. He spent precious time with his grandchildren, traveled extensively with Pauline, and created beautiful woodworking projects. His commitment to serving others was evident in his dedicated involvement with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, where he touched many lives through his generosity and compassion. Bob's legacy of kindness, generosity, and service will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him. His family and friends will forever hold dear the memories of his stories, humor, and the special moments they shared together. Bob will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
