SHALAWYLO, Peter. February 21, 2022. Age 25. Beloved son of Brian and the late Lori. Loving brother of Andrew. Cherished grandson of Mary and the late Thomas Zielinski, and the late Louise and the late William Shalawylo. Dearest nephew of the late William Shalawylo (Grace), MaryLouise Doren, (Mark), Charlotte Krajniak, Greg Shalawylo (Sharon), the late Kenneth Shalawylo (Nina), the late Tom Zielinski (Tina), Nancy Negrini (Bill), Dan Zielinski (Gale). Survived by his many loving cousins. In Pete’s short time on earth he managed to touch many lives with his happy outlook on life and his kind soul. His compassion for others stretched to all living creatures as he was a wonderful, caring ‘Dog Dad’ . His love for hockey was a big part of his life. An avid Redwings fan and a member of the Bruins youth hockey state championship team; the foundation for many of his friendships. He loved spending time with his family and friends and always brought a smile to one’s face with his cheery hellos. Peter had a big heart and always looked out for everyone else before himself. This was truly proven with his final gesture of donating his organs so others could have a second chance at life. He will be missed by so many friends and family and always will remain in our hearts with so many fun memories of the times we all were honored to spend with him. May he forever rest in peace together in heaven with his mom and Papa and so many loving friends and relatives that have passed before him. Visitation Monday 3-9pm with a 7:00pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons. 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate 9:30am at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Twp., until time of 10am Mass.
