Peter Frank Grelle

Peter F. Grelle, Age 70 of West Bloomfield, MI passed away on Thursday August 11, 2022. Peter was born in Lawrence, MA on May 5, 1952, to the late Peter and Frances (nee: Cafiso) Grelle. Peter was a compassionate and caring man, who loved and valued his family and friendships. He graduated from Lawrence High School and held a B.S. in Plastic Technology from Lowell Technological Institute and a M.S. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Peter received numerous awards and accolades throughout his more than 45 year career. He was one -- "Wicked Smart Dude." Peter had a love for Drum and Bugle Corps for over 62 years and was an alumni member of the Beverly Cardinals Drum Corps, he was an avid sports fanatic, loved traveling, music and movies. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends. Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years Angela (nee: Maranzano) Grelle, sister Dorothy Gagnon and husband Philippe and the late Patrick Grelle. He was the loving Godfather to Morgan Pollard,Matthew Kerouac and Antonio Maranzano. Loving uncle to Mary Ellen Grelle, Laura Pollard (Jeffrey), Jennifer Grelle, Christopher Gagnon (Kelly Foster), Andrea LaTorre, Jacqueline Smiatacz (Brian), Melissa Bernal (Mario), Jennifer Maranzano, Emily Gieleghem (Jason), Nicholas Maranzano, Samuel Maranzano, Gina Maranzano, Carmen Maranzano, Jude Maranzano and great nieces and nephews; Haley, Kenneth, Kristen, Michael, Adam, Grace, James, Zane, Mario, Addison and Sofia. Visitation Monday August 15th 3-8pm with a 7pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons. 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Tuesday 9:30am— at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Twp, until time of 10am Mass.
