Patricia "Pat" Quitter

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, Patricia (Pat) Quitter, who passed away on November 14, 2023 at the age of 76. Pat was born on December 2, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. She later moved to Shelby Township, Michigan where she resided for 47 years. Pat was a dedicated and loving wife of 55 years to her husband Roger, a devoted mother to her children Michele, Greg, Amy and Lisa and a caring aunt to Derek, Sarah and Craig. Pat worked for Social Security and the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years. Pat was a kind and generous soul. She always put the needs of others before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her sense of humor, smile and warm personality. She was an active and committed member of St. Kieran's Church. Pat was also a leader in the Assistance League of Southeast Michigan. Pat loved watching sports of all kinds and cheering on the Spartans (Go Green!), but she especially loved to support and cheer on her grandchildren in their sports and other activities over the years. Roger and Pat spent their winters in Florida, where they spent time playing golf, eating and enjoying music with friends. Pat is predeceased by her mother Ann, father George, brothers George (Christine) and Bob (Margaret), as well as her daughter Michele (Scott). Pat is survived by her husband Roger, children Greg (Christine), Amy (Mike) and Lisa (Mark), niece Sarah (Aaron), nephews Derek (Lisa) and Craig and her son-in-law Scott (Jacquelyn). Pat is also survived by her 16 grandchildren - Jack, Jordan, Joey, Dylan, Alexis, Zack, Caden, Aliza, Maya, Madilyn, Alison, Emilie, Tyson, Jade, Felicity and Cordilia - who she loved with all her heart. They will miss her dearly. Visitation Friday from 3-8pm at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Funeral Saturday Instate from 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Kieran Church, 53600 Mound Rd., Shelby Twp., 48316 (Btw. 24 & 25 Mile). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Assistance League of Southeast Michigan in Memory of Pat Quitter.
