Nathaniel David Komosinski

January 28, 1993 - May 31, 2022

KOMOSINSKI, Nathaniel David age 29, May 31, 2022 Came into life January 28, 1993, came into eternal life May 31, 2022. Beloved son of David & Lenee. Dearest brother of Michelle (Ryan) Shultz, Danielle (Thomas) Santilli, Jennelle (Jason) Komosinski, Brielle Komosinski, and Joelle Komosinski. Cherished grandson of Loretta (George) Ecker-Krause. Endeared uncle to Clayton Santilli, and Hannah and Joshua Shultz. Also sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Born with kidney disease, Nathan faced many challenges and numerous hospital stays. These struggles did not hold him back; rather he used them to drive him to find purpose and direction in his life. A transplant recipient at age 18, he became an advocate for other young transplant patients. Nathan recently graduated from Wayne State University and was an aspiring dietician on the path to achieving his goal, using his gifts to help children like himself who faced chronic disease. Despite his health struggles, he never let it define who he was. Nathan found humor in most situations and was charismatic, often making new friends wherever he went. He was drawn to arts, music, and theater, taking every opportunity to dress up and gather with friends. Nathan was an incredibly loyal friend and family member who will be dearly missed. Visitation Sunday 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (Shelby Township) 54880 VanDyke at 25 Mile Rd. Prayers 7:00 p.m. Instate Monday 9:30 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Rd. at Romeo Plank) until Mass, 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Luncheon to follow for all friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Kidney Foundation are appreciated.
