Mary Frances Trucano

December 23, 1937 - May 11, 2022

Mary "Jake" Frances Trucano lived a full life as a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Heaven gained an angel on May 11, 2022. Mary was born to Carl and Angelina on December 23rd. 1937. Shortly after graduating from Catholic Central High School, Mary met her late husband, Frank Trucano. Together they had three children, Melisa (Jim), Lynn (Art), and Frank (Lynn). Mary was a proud grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Sarah (JR), Tricia (Tim), Heather (Tom), Michael (Ashley), Christopher (Julia), Anthony (Amani), and Celina Trucano. Adored great-grandmother to 17, and great-great-grandmother to one. Mary is survived by her brother and wife, Carl (Mary Jo), sister and husband Gloria (Steve), and late brother Frank. During her busy 52 years of marriage, Mary worked at their numerous businesses; Francel's Bar & Lounge, Sam's Department Store, Boomba's Spirits and Eatery, and Mirage Banquet Hall. Mary spent her pastime with family and friends traveling in the United States and abroad. Mary loved cooking with her son and spent time shopping and having lunch out with her two daughters. Mary's favorite time was with family. She loved to have everyone over for dinner, especially making Polenta and having more desserts than food. This is a tradition that will be carried out for generations. Instate Friday 9:30am at St. Isidore Church, 18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, until time of 10am Mass. Entombment will follow the mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp. Mi.
