NOVAK, LEONARD JOSEPH passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2022. He was 84. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie White (Scott), son Leonard Novak Jr., long time significant other Ann Arfre, and his stepson Joseph Arfre. He also has four grandchildren (Jacob, Samantha, Sara and Jackson). He adored his grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved dog Bella. Leonard was a lifelong resident of Michigan. He retired from General Motors and then worked part time at McDonalds for many years. He enjoyed his retirement job and only stopped working when his health issues made it impossible. He loved Christmas and would put up ALL the decorations. He loved spending time with his family, especially holidays and birthdays. He attended preschool graduations, baseball games, dance recitals, and any events he could to support his children and grandchildren. Leonard was an Army veteran and involved with the VFW. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also very involved with, and a past president of, the Roseville handicapped Association for many years. As a member of the Four Buds Hunting Club he enjoyed going deer hunting and spending time at the hunting cabin with his friends. He will be greatly missed and his time with us was much too short. Visitation Monday 3-9pm with 7:00pm Service followed by Military Honors at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Donations are welcome to MORC.
