James Allen White

August 25, 1938 - January 18, 2022

WHITE, James "Jim" age 83, January 18, 2022 Beloved husband of Nancy for 62 1/2 cherished years. Dearest father of Lori (John) Stephens, Mark (Kelly) White, Kevin White, Amy (Jim) Oppat and Melissa White. Proud grandfather of Shannon, Breanna, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Megan, Brandon, Justin, Elise, Devin, Brett, Derek, Alec, Meghan, Ryan, Morgan, Carter, Alexis, Landon and Lucas. Great grandfather of Rylee, Macee, Charlee, Brody, Ava, Christian, Clay, Rhett and Layne. Also sadly missed by extended loving family members and dear friends. Jim had an incredible love for many things in life. He loved to travel and was able to visit over 45 of the States and even made it to multiple cities in Europe. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, wood working, spoiling his grandchildren and especially golf. His love of golf took him to very special places including Tree Tops, Arcadia Bluffs, Pinehurst, Pebble Beach and even St. Andrews, to name a few. Most of all, his love and dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ was always his top priority. He sang many Sundays at Church and was Youth Leader for many years. His smile, laughter and joy of life will never be forgotten. Jim also leaves behind much loved family and friends that had an amazing impact on his life... and what a wonderful life he had. Visitation Thursday, January 27th 3-9pm at Wujek-Calcaterra& Sons, Inc. (Shelby Township) 54880 VanDyke at 25 Mile Rd. Instate Friday, January 28th 10:00am at Woodside Bible Church 6600 Rochester Rd (Troy) until service, 11:00am. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Woodside Bible Church or charity of your choice are appreciated.
