Finazzo, Stephanie (Fanny), age 94, born on July 23, 1931 in Detroit, MI entered into eternal life on December 2, 2025. Beloved wife of Mariano (Tony) for 71 years. Cherished Mother of JoAnn (Michael) Colombo and Paul (Dawn) Finazzo. Proud grandmother of Tania (Giacomo) Zanger, Charles (Nicole) Colombo, Nicolie (Michael) LaLone, and Cory Finazzo. Adoring great grandmother of Alanna, Adriana, Dominic, Michael, Maria, Giannina, and Elliana. Loving daughter of the late, Frank and Rose Catanzaro. Loving sister of Josie (Joe) Mazzola and the late Mattie (the late John) Carfi. Her love was bigger than life and knew no bounds. Her tenderness and generosity were unwavering. She was the matriarch of the family, an honor she wore proudly. Everyone had a place in her heart, her kitchen, and her family. She never met a stranger and her door was always open for a meal, a cup of coffee or some dessert. No one ever left her home on an empty stomach. It was her greatest joy to feed her family and sit around the table engaging in conversation and making memories. She loved a good card game, thoroughly enjoyed her game shows, dance and voice competition shows, and a good cup of strong coffee. She waited in anticipation for the great grand children to walk through the door so she could call them over one by one and hand them each a $20 bill. Her favorite pastime was taking pictures and spending hours scrapbooking all that she captured. You could eat off the floor in her meticulously clean home and she may have had a household of 2 but the food on the table would serve 20. Her family was absolutely everything to her and her smile would light up the room when they walked through the door. She walked the blessed journey of life with her best friend, her loving husband of 71 years. Together they enjoyed countless trips with their friends and family, hosted card nights with plenty of snacks, spent several amazing years in sunny Florida enjoying Busch Gardens and many other local attractions before settling back down in Michigan to bask in her growing family. She leaves behind a legacy of abundant love and memories. Visitation will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 and Tuesday December 9, 2025 from 3-9pm with a Prayer Service Tuesday at 7pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Hts. Instate Wednesday, December 10, 2025 9:30 until the time of Mass 10am at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church 41300 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
