PRASAD, Dr. Binay. April 30, 2022. Age 71. Beloved husband of Rupam; loving father to Pallavi, Preeti and Yash Prasad; and proud and adoring grandfather to Leon and Anisha Bisambhar. Dr. Prasad was raised in India, where he attended the St. Xavier's High School, Patna, followed by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and later acquired a Master's degree from Baylor University, and a Doctoral degree from the University of Michigan in Materials Science. An accomplished research scientist, Dr. Prasad developed six patented technologies in battery sciences over the course of a lauded career that spanned over four decades. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 4.
