Alexander Joseph Olgate came into this world, larger than life, on Friday, 4/24/1992. He transitioned to the next place unexpectedly on 4/9/2022 at the age of 29. Alex was animated and wondrous right from the beginning. He grew up in Clinton Township and graduated from Chippewa Valley High School. He was a good student and an excellent golfer, captaining the CVHS varsity golf team. Alex also loved weight training and helping others achieve their fitness goals. Alex was an endearing and charismatic man that loved fast cars, big trucks, chocolate or anything sweet and being with his family. He was the guy with a smile on his face and a zest for life with a glass is half full mentality. Alex had some personal struggles that he worked hard to overcome with humility and grace. He always was striving to be the best version of himself learning as much from his failures as his successes. Alex was a consummate entrepreneur that worked hard and started multiple businesses in his 29 years. He is survived by his father, William Olgate, Mother, Renata and Stepfather, Don Turner. On his paternal side, Alex was a beloved nephew to George and Victoria Melin, Rosemarie Sarske and cousin to Julie Nicke, Paula (Brian) Belknap, Jackie (Jeff) Kenefsky, Kelly (Larry) Kranson and Randy (Sam) Sarske. He grew up alongside his best buddy and cousin, Bertram Nicke. He was always the fun cousin to Jaydan, Brian, Izabella, Noah,Ellie, Claire, Grace and Luke. On his maternal side, Alex was a beloved nephew to Daniel Sczcesny, his wife Agnieszka and nieces, Natalia and Karinka; he was loved by his Stepbrother and Stepsister Matt and Kelli Turner and his step nieces and nephews Mia, Eli, Luca, Evan and Emily and Cousins Aaron, Abigail, Tim and Andzeika. Alex was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Pauline and Maternal Grandparents, Jan and Helen Sczcesny, along with his maternal uncles John, Richard and Chris and his paternal cousin, David Sarske. Funeral visitation will be at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons Inc 36900 Schoenherr Rd Sterling Heights MI 48312 on Monday, April 18, 2022, 3:00-9:00pm and Tuesday, April 19th from 8:00am to 11:00 Funeral service will also be at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11:00 Cemetery: Beth El in Livonia Michigan Luncheon: TBD
