Sharon Ladonn Byers

Sharon Ladonn Byers of Troy, Michigan, was carried home on angels wings to the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in her sleep during the early morning hours on Wednesday morning, October 7, 2015. Sharon was born on September 18, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to Alfonso and Donna (McKinley) DiMusto. At a young age, she set her hand to homemaking skills and serving the Lord. She graduated from Dondero High School in 1967 and attended Elim Bible College in New York. Sharon married the love of her life, Mark Davis Byers, on August 23, 1969. They spent 46 years together making a home and building a Kingdom life of holiness. God blessed Sharon and Mark with five children, filling her quiver with four sons and one daughter. She served faithfully in many roles; but the most meaningful and the ones that brought her the greatest joy were: pianist, church organist, songwriter, Pastor's wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. Worshiping the Lord, singing to Him, and interceding were found in the deepest parts of her heart. If you ever just dropped by the house, she would often be found worshiping at her ebony piano singing and playing choruses and hymns. Passionate about shopping, she was always on the lookout for gifts for her 'grands' as she called them. Her life yielded far more than wealth. She has a heritage and testimony of a woman mightily blessed by God. She will be lovingly remembered by: her husband: Mark Davis Byers (Troy, Michigan), five children: David (wife Ronda) Byers (Troy, Michigan); Rachel (husband Scott) Fisher (Sterling Heights, Michigan); Aaron (wife Morgan) Byers (Troy, Michigan); Justin (wife Ashleigh) Byers (Sunburst, Montana); Jared Byers, twenty grandchildren: Hope Byers, Adriel Byers, Lucas Byers, Emma Byers, Samantha Fisher, Seth Fisher, Austin Fisher, Tabitha Fisher, Jerem Byers, Levi Byers, Brooke Byers, Justice Byers, Grace Byers, Samuel Byers, Victoria Byers, Isabella Byers, Marcella Byers, Jared Leigh Byers, Sebastian Byers, and Mercedes Byers, her mother: Donna DiMusto Busch & Stepfather, Garland Busch her siblings: Rachel Shaffer, Jonathan DiMusto and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th, from 5:00-8:00pm and on Sunday, October 11th, from 11:00-1:00pm at Calvary Christian Church, 2203 E. Eleven Mile Road, Royal Oak, Michigan. Her funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, October 11, 2015 officiated by her loving husband at Calvary Christian Church. There will be a private burial on Monday, at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
