GASPAROVICH, Linda Diane. December 29, 2025. Age 72. Beloved wife of Stephen for 50 incredible years. Loving and devoted mother of Brian (Téa), David (Rachel), and Emily (Bryan). Proud and adored Nana of Aubrey, Hailey, Quinn, the late Ellie, Blake, and Chloe. Cherished sister of the late Janette (the late Paul) Palazzola, Robert (Christine) Weiss, and Barbara (Gaspare) Arena. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews. Linda passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and the reminders of the people she loved most. Despite her health challenges in later years, she never lost the warmth, humor, and devotion that defined her. She lived with quiet strength and selfless optimism, always putting others first to find happiness in small, everyday moments. Family was Linda’s greatest joy. She watched her granddaughters dance and play with a proud, tender gaze, celebrating every coo, "Patty Cake," and soccer goal. At home, she was a devoted Cat Mama to the late TJ and Sissy Lou, who knew her lap and her steady affection. Even as her mobility declined, Linda kept "Nana and Papa’s House" a place of laughter, stories, and small traditions that made family feel safe and let the outside world fall away. The joy she created at home followed the family wherever they traveled - long summer days at Houghton Lake, laughter on cruises, and trips to Cadillac, Michigan and Cabo San Lucas that became stories told and retold. Linda was sentimental by nature. She collected moments the way others collect photographs, and she held each memory close as a treasure. Just as she poured love into her family, Linda poured that same devotion into her friendships and her community. Linda was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, where she cherished countless friendships and found comfort in shared faith. Over the years she embraced many hobbies that kept her connected and joyful: shopping and craft shows, country line dancing, bowling nights, and the camaraderie of her Euchre Club. These activities reflected her curiosity, her love of community, and her talent for making friends wherever she went. Aside from being an exceptional mom, wife, and friend, Linda also built a remarkable professional life. Before choosing to devote herself fully to raising her children, she forged an accomplished career as an Executive Assistant at Chrysler. Through talent, drive, and unwavering enthusiasm, she rose to the highest ranks, ultimately working directly for Lee Iacocca, Chrysler’s renowned CEO. Her contributions were so valued that he acknowledged her in the foreword to his 1988 book Talking Straight. For all her hard work, Linda also knew how to savor her own quiet "me time." Linda’s heart beat to the music of Tom Jones, whose voice brought her back to the fun, fan‑filled days she and her sisters treasured when they were young. She loved being cozy during stormy days, wrapped in a blanket watching classics like The Sound of Music or Fiddler on the Roof. She delighted in simple pleasures around the house, especially tending to the flowers in her garden. Linda’s life was woven from the things she cherished most - family, friendship, faith, and the simple joys that filled her days. Her presence brought comfort, and her memory will live on in the laughter of her granddaughters, the warmth of "Nana and Papa’s House," the friendships she nurtured, and the small traditions she tended with such care. May her family and friends find peace in the countless moments of joy she created and in the gentle legacy of kindness she leaves behind.
