GENORD, JUNE ELAINE Age 85, passed away surrounded by family on March 27, 2025 Beloved wife of the late Gerald. Loving mother of Gerald (Cindy), Randy (Nancy), Brenda (Darren) DeLamielleure, Dr. Michael (Jill), Brian (Michelle), and Jeff (Paulette). Adoring grandmother of Erica (Adam), Chelsea (Joey), Elaine (Neil), Haley (Jordan), Jessica (Adam), Dane, Ryan, Bryce, Tanner, Danielle, Garett (Maggie), Alexandra, Hannah (Gabe), Ian, Claire, Madison (DeAri), Jacob, Nicolas, Luke, Kyle, and Morgan and great grandmother of Jordyn, Noah, Cole, Emmy, Chase, Cecelia, Cooper, Cade, Palmer, Prescott, Alphonse (AJ), and Tyson. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Martha Krause, June was a dear sister to the late Tom (Marie) Krause, the late Lois (Ken) Bush, and Joann (Armando) Hoder. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. June bravely faced health challenges throughout her life and proved to be quite a fighter. June enjoyed baking, sewing, painting, playing cards, bird watching, and spending time with family. Her children and grandchildren will treasure memories of Sunday dinners, birthdays, and holidays spent with June and Jerry. Annual trips to the Christmas tree farm, growing pumpkins in grandpa and grandma’s garden for Halloween, and a giant box of ring pops in the pantry are some of the grandkids’ favorite memories. Family, faith, and friends were important to June and she shared her faith teaching catechism at St. Kieran, and enjoyed friendships with her Servite High School “girls” that spanned many decades. The family wishes to thank the amazing caregivers and staff at Cedarbrook Rochester, as well as the wonderful team at Henry Ford Hospice for their care, kindness, and compassion. Visitation Tuesday 3-8pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. (SHELBY TOWNSHIP). Funeral Wednesday Instate 10:30am at St. Andrew Church 1400 Inglewood (E of Rochester Rd. btw Parkdale and Tienken Rds.) until time of Mass at 11:00am.
