Sharon Marie Alore

ALORE, Sharon Marie (nee: Lemanowski), of Sterling Heights, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 21, 2023 at the age of 72. Sharon was born on June 28, 1951 to Joseph and Lottie Lemanowski (nee: Olsewicz). After graduating from Oakland University, she began her teaching career at St Veronica's in East Detroit. In 1979 Sharon married the love of her life, Martin Alore. After receiving her master’s degree, she began teaching Special Education in Fraser Public Schools. She transitioned to the Mark Twain Elementary School to teach 2nd grade and finished her career in 2015 teaching Kindergarten. She loved teaching and was always so nurturing and understanding with her students. Sharon loved traveling to Northern Michigan, with Mackinac Island and Homestead Resort being her favorite destinations. Sharon enjoyed puzzles, sudokus, and reading, but her favorite time spent was FaceTiming with her grandsons nearly everyday. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband Martin; she was the dearest mother of Kathryn Alore Halteman (Rick) and Elizabeth Alore and the proud grandmother of Oliver Halteman and twins Jack and Wyatt Halteman. She is also survived by her sisters Carole Miller and Gloria Wilson; brother-in-law Ralph Alore, and sister-in-law Sue Dzbanski as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Lottie Lemanowski. Sharon was an incredible person, always putting others before herself. She will be missed by many. Visitation Tuesday 3-8pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Heights . Instate Wednesday 9am until time of 9:30am Mass at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd. (E. of Dodge Park), Sterling Heights. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Foundation for Women's Cancer (www.foundationforwomenscancer.org) or the PKD Foundation (www.pkdcure.org) are appreciated.
