ANGOTT, Johnnie Lynn, "JL" December 19, 2024 Age 78. Beloved wife of the late Randy. Loving mother of Rebecca (Michael) McKeown and the late Randall "RJ". Proud grandmother of Matthew and Madison. Affectionately known as JL, Johnnie Lynn was born in 1946 in West Virginia, the oldest of three children (Lena and Jim) to Joseph and Rose Polinori. In the mid 1960’s, she would meet Randy Angott. Eventually the two would marry in 1969 and move to Fraser, MI where the pair would remain until Randy’s passing in 2013. She raised two beautiful children, Randall John (RJ), and Rebecca. Johnnie Lynn was a stay-at-home mother, and hers was the house where the kids, family and friends came to hang out. Not only for the endless supply of snacks and coffee, but also because she was able to relate to all and make them feel comfortable, no matter their situation. JL could start, and keep, a discussion going like few others. Many were convinced her secret desire was to be a talk show hostess. An Avon lady for forty-five years, JL made friends around the neighborhood and was always a great source for the latest styles and fashions. She had a flair for entertainment and fashion and was never seen outside of the home without looking her absolute best. Later in life, known as Grammy in the family, JL helped raise her two grandchildren, Matthew and Madison. Johnnie Lynn absolutely adored her grandkids and would dote on them for as long as she could get away with. Her love for Matt and Maddie helped get her through the losses of her son and husband and helped make the move to live in Brighton in 2020 much easier. Grammy, JL, Johnnie Lynn, will be greatly missed by anyone who got to know her. Her family and friends will forever remember her warm smile, kind words, contagious laughter, and her inexhaustible ability to connect with others. She will be missed. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 2-8pm with a Sharing of Memories service at 6:30pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Johnnie's honor would be appreciated to the Alzheimers Association @ www.alz.org/gmc.
