David Paul Tamulevich

TAMULEVICH, DAVID PAUL Age 75 June 27, 2023. It is with deepest regret to inform you of the passing of Dave Tamulevich. Dave had an 18 month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Dave started in the Primeway Fab dept in 1967 part time while finishing his business degree at Wayne State. He was also a guitar player in the 60’s band Lazy Eggs that had a top 20 record on the Detroit charts. During this time, he married our sister Nancy and would have been married 55 years this year. Dave worked at Primeway for a while then moved on to Belmont. He moved to California for 10 months to start up BelCal in 1974 when we expanded operations on the west coast. On his return in 75’ he went to work at Union Steel Stamp which Ping had recently bought, which was located next door to Primeway in Detroit. He also bartended at night to help out at The Champagne Lounge that Ping also owned and was next door to Union Steel Stamp. Dave worked periodically in different positions for all the companies over the years but eventually settling in at Union which he helped turn into a Mold company that he ran until its closing in 2006. Dave worked in the Cleary benefits area until 2011 when he retired Beloved husband of Nancy for 55 years. Loving father of David C. (Dawn) Tamulevich & Mike (Angela) Tamulevich. Proud grandfather of Isabella, Michael, Dominic, Sophia & Victoria. Dearest brother of Stanley (Julie) Tamulevich, Nancy (Rod) Hyduk & the late Charles Tamulevich. Dear brother in law of Larry (Paula) Ianitelli, Sally (the late Rich) Vanderport, Lynn (Chris) Tyll, Bob (Sue) Ianitelli, Peggy (Eric) Cianchette & Kathy (Gary) Deeb. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 3-8pm with 7:00pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. (SHELBY TOWNSHIP). Funeral Friday, July 7, 2023 Instate 10:00am at St. Therese of Lisieux Church 48115 Schoenherr Rd. (btw 21 & 22 Mile Rds.) until time of Mass at 10:30am.
