Beverly Jane Knill

Beverly Jane Knill, of Clinton Township, passed away peacefully April 15, 2019 in her 84th year. She was born March 30, 1935 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Patricia Chapp. She graduated from Commerce High School, Detroit, in 1953. In February, 1955, at Resurrection Church in Detroit, she married the love of her life, Donald Louis Knill, who preceded her in death in 1992. Beverly lived a full life as a wonderfully devoted mother and homemaker. She was a kind and generous woman. Her character and strength spoke for itself. She was honest, told it like it was. She was full of spunk. She loved to cook. Her grandchildren would visit often and look forward to her famous scrambled egg recipe. She was an avid golfer and loved football. Her favorite team was the Denver Broncos, she was John Elway's biggest fan. She loved playing cards and enjoyed her time playing Euchre with her grandchildren and Pinochle and Poker with her dear friends. She enjoyed going to the Casino and her favorite place to visit was Las Vegas. She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice and had a great love for music and dancing. When her feet hit the floor it was like watching Ginger Rogers. Beverly also enjoyed her time working as a Cargiver, and those she cared for simply loved her. In her lifetime her courage and strength gave her direction to survive three collisions with Cancer. She was an inspiration to many. She loved and was loved beyond measure. She will be deeply missed and always remembered. Loving grandmother of Richard Collins, Jr., Sara (Tyler) Bryant, Donald Knill III, David Collins, Greg Ormsby, Matt (Katie) Knill, Justin Knill, Amy (Jake) Parsons, Jessica Knill (Richard Shorkey), Brad (Rebecca) Knill, Jeffrey Knill, the late Jessica (Jason) Collins-Fleming and the late Brandon Knill Loving great-grandmother of Lauren Snyder, Richard Collins III, Ava Collins, Tyler Bryant Jr., Emalyn Shorkey, Tucker Bryant, Addison Collins, Richard Shorkey Jr. and George Knill Loving Aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews Predeceased Brother Richard Orrell Visitation Monday 3-9pm with 7:00pm Vigil Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Funeral Tuesday Instate 11:00am at St. Peter Church 95 Market at New St. (Downtown Mt. Clemens) until time of Mass at 11:30am. Donations are welcome to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
